Help need with "Use cookie-free domains"

Recommended Posts

If you know how to set up a cookie-free domain for assets (css, js, images) you can configure Media Servers on the configuration page "Advanced Parameters > Performance". That'll make sure images are served from a cookie-free domain.

But if you'd ask me then I would say it is not really worth the hassle. I even think that setting up a separate domain causes more overhead nowadays than the overhead caused by cookies. Ask if your hosting provider supports HTTP/2.0. That is IMHO way more important than those outdated advices on gtmetrix.
