Unable to make CMS block module work

Hi all,

 

I am trying to figure out how to make the CMS block work as I think it should work (maybe that's the problem, that it doesn't work as I think it should...)

 

What I would like to do is:

 

- Change the default INFORMATION block name to a different name.

- Add additional blocks of links on the footer.

 

My page layout is only working with the left column. I am adding all the blocks to the left blocks group. However, the blocks I add do not show up in the footer. Only the INFORMATION block is showing up. When I update the information block links, information gets updated in the footer, so I think it is not a cache issue. I have tried clearing the cache and even disabling the cache and different browsers with caching disabled.

 

More info:

 

- I have added to blocks to the left blocks group

- Both blocks belong to the default category

- Both blocks have enabled different articles of the default category

- Articles enabled within the blocks are not the same.

 

I do not understand why I do not get additional blocks in the footer.

 

 

 

Any hints would be appreciated.
