How to hide a Catagory to show in drop box but still show catagory

Hello,

I would like to hide category to show from drop box, but i want the category itself to be accessible to the public. Is there a way to do that? I want to use forexample an featured product category , but i dont want it to show in the show drop down... i just need it as its own page category

hover over shop - you will see featured products... i want that removed from the drop down only. i want to be able to use the link of featured products

Hello!
Create a parent category for your "Featured Products" category. And disable that parent category.
