XAMPP Backups: Migrating from original to XAMPP

Hello,

 

I downloaded all my site to htdocs in XAMPP, and downloaded my database and added it to xampp with phpmyadmin from my control panel from my site to the phpmyadmin of XAMPP.

 

When trying to open the site it says:

 

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Se produjo un error durante el intento de conexión ya que la parte conectada no respondió adecuadamente tras un periodo de tiempo, o bien se produjo un error en la conexión establecida ya que el host conectado no ha podido responder.

 

I can translate from 2002 after:

 

An error has occured while trying to connect since the connected part didn't answer correctly after some time, else an error has occurred in the established connection since host couldn't answer.

 

Any ideas what's wrong?

Hello again, I've been trying to work this around but I'm still getting the same error. Any ideas?

Where is some problem with MySQL. Did you start server without any problems?

If you enter wrong passwords there should be other type error.
