Extra/wrong carriers showing at checkout page

Hi all,

 

I've just set up a bunch of carriers in my store and thought I better test it... well, the correct carrier is showing (the carrier that has the weight range to suit my cart weight) but I'm also getting other carriers showing that DON'T suit my cart weight (carriers with higher weight ranges).

 

I tried it with a heavier item in my cart and the correct carrier only is showing. So no problem there. So it's only a problem when I have a lighter item in the cart and all other heavier weight range carriers are showing :/

 

I'm using the in-built default Carrier Module, in the back office, for this. Maybe I'm mis-understanding how it works??

I figured it out, all I had to do was change the Out Of Range Behaviour Setting from 'show the highest price' to 'disable carrier' Phew!!!
