Import a csv datafeed

I need to import a suppliers datafeed into a particular category of the cart.

The datafeed has its own fields like: Product, Wholesale price, qnty etc.

 

Is there any method in Presta, which can help in doing this.

Hello! 

 

You may consider Store Manager for PrestaShop and its import capabilities. Your feed fields can be mapped with PrestaShop database fields on one of import wizard steps. Moreover, if you do not have a category provided in the import file, you can choose the one you have at your store and all the products will be imported in this category (see the screenshot).

Whenever you have multiple feeds from suppliers, you can set scheduled import tasks with Automated Product Import addon, like it is described in this tutorial - https://www.prestashopmanager.com/useful-articles/how-to/how-to-accomplish-prestashop-cron-import-with-automated-product-import-addon/

You wlll need to modify the CSV to add the store category that you want to load into. I think it is the 'category' field.

 

It is quite possible you'll need to do other mods to the CSV to get it to load properly.
