georgebourle
Hello I 've already import my products via csv files. Now i have some new products and i need to update my catalog without touching the existing products. Please show me a way to do that! The other problem is that every time i import something new, i have to regenerate all thumbnails and this is very disturbing if consider that almost every time the server times out. Thank you for your interest George
RogueWaveLimited
When you import your new products include ONLY those products in the CSV. Do not include the old products.
Iryna
Hello, Georgebourle If I understand you correctly and you mean products (existing and new) are stored in the same file, you import from this file and want to skip existing items, you may consider import functionality of Store Manager for PrestaShop. The matter is, Store Manager lets adjust import settings according to your needs and offers various import methods (check the screenshot attached). If you select "Add Only" import method as it shown, existing products will be skipped, only new ones will be added. Store Manager is available here - http://addons.prestashop.com/en/2937-store-manager-for-prestashop.html Hope it will help!
