Problem listing attributes in attribute group

Hi. I'm currently having difficulties adding attributes in by attribute group. It lets me create an attribute group but when i go in to add attributes to the group it does not find that particular attribute group i just created even though I see its been created. I'm using prestashop 1.4.9. So basically i go to attributes and group, click on add attributes group and it successfully adds it to the group. I then proceed to click on add attribute which takes me to the add attribute screen but when i look for the name of the group i created its not there on that screen although its there on the previous attributes and group screen. Can anyone help me?
