authentication.php return can not be displayed page

when i try to checkout and after giving username and pass when i click on login then i got page can not be displayed (URL http://www.xyzshop.com/authentication.php)
means i can't go to my account page please help.

I can't connect to the site.

Could be a permission error or it can just be a temporary error on the cache-side.

Let's investigate when the page returns back online!

i think PHP version compatibility is the main problem there,
My server configuration:
Platform Type
Debian

MySQL Version
5.0.45

Perl Version
5.8.8

PHP Version
5.2.12

Path to SendMail
/usr/sbin/sendmail

Path to Perl
/usr/bin/perl

Path to PHP
/usr/local/bin/php

And prestashop required:
- Linux, Unix, or Windows
- Web Server (Apache 1.3 or later, IIS 6 or later)
- PHP 5.0* or later
- MySQL 5** or later
* Some PHP 5 versions are bugged and prevent PrestaShop from working correctly:
- PHP 5.2.1 (authentication is impossible) {I THINK THIS IS MAIN PROBLEM}
- PHP 5.2.6 (authentication is impossible under 64bits servers)
- PHP 5.2.9 (image management/upload broken)
- PHP < 5.2 (invalid date timezone)

So anybody know how to fix it.

I think you should contact your host and tell them that they should upgrade their version of PHP.

If you're running it locally;

sudo apt-get upgrade

Then everything should be fixed:)

The only thing that comes to mind is a permissions error and or a misconfigured file which redirects the user to authentication.php

yesterday i've updated version 1.3 RC 3 but problem is still same, everything is working fine on another server but on ipower's server i'm getting error.
