[Solved] Products : Custom user cannot save products, only admin can.

Hi,

 

OK, I'm stumped. I've looked around the Google for an answer to this but no joy.

 

Using PS v1.6.1.0. As the admin / Site owner, I can create products and categories. I get a nice green message saying "Successful creation".



All good, until...

... I created a user called Back Office who only has permissions to do things within the Catalog. User Back Office can create new categories fine but when you create a new product, when you save you don't get the green successful creation message. You don't get anything, it will not save.

 

The only permissions for Back Office that are ticked / checked, are for the Catalog. 

Why can't this user add products when they have the permission to do and can create categories fine?

Problem is fixed. Appears issue was due of a PHP max lines issue that happened after Tags was removed from the permissions.

When all the permissions were reinstated, those permissions wouldn't save.

New user created with only full Catalog permissions now works. Corrupted Back Office user deleted.
