How to create a theme in prestashop.....Need help

Hi everyone,

It seems everyone familiar in creating themes.Im new to prestashop.I dunno where to start in creating themes.It will be of great help if someone give idea/suggestions for new theme creation.

Hi,

in first you can duplicate the default theme to creta yours.

after your can take firebug for firefox to test and localize css change.

well mate i've been using PS over a year now and I now exactly as you feel.

i sugest that you first duplicate the original presta theme. then go in that folder and open img folder. first try to edit the images (colors and stuff) in a image editor.
the to match the color changes with the new images and the css go in css folder and edit global.css.
to determine what you need to change i recommend webdeveloper toolbar extension for firefox.
