why this seems impossible in prestashop?!

Hi,

thanks for all your efforts and supports, but I've encountered a strange situation that in first glance it should be easy to solve,

in my shop I use different backgrounds for different categories' products, witch means my products have different backgrounds according to their parents categories (with css) , this is true for category.tpl and homefeatured.tpl

BUT

there is no way to set them for manufacturer.tpl and/or supplier.tpl since NO category has been defined for manufacturer.php and supplier.php !!!

so , I can't use {if} statements for getting category ids and so on?!

is there any way to modify them in order to assign categories and get them in corresponding tpl files ?
