Categories Showing Wrong Products Sometimes - Cache Issue?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Just noticed that my site is showing the wrong products sometimes. Even had a customer mention it to me. I was using memcache up until a few days ago and then started playing around with Xcache and File System cache and going back and forth between them. Now it seems like it is doing it for any cache type I use. I just turned off cache and it seems to have fixed the problem but not sure since it wasn't doing it all the time before.

Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix this? I have a VPS and have full control of it via WHM.

Website is www (dot) L L M E D I C O (dot) com

Thanks,

Alex

Yes. It was a cache issue. Couldn't figure out why it all of a sudden started happening but just turned off cache completely and the problem went away. Haven't had time to revisit this but my store seems to be just as fast as before.

Try turning off cache and see if that helps.

Yea i know it was a cache issue - just not sure why it was happening.  I would like to be able to use the cache to speed things up but it's completely worthless out of the box.

Suddenly happens to me too. With cache activated I have a category that displays all the products from another one.

Disabling cache the problem is solved, but I would like to maintain cache activated.

I'm on Prestashop 1.6.1.14, I'm going to upgrade to 1.6.1.16 now.
