darren62
Thanks to reading on the forum and in particular to Nethercott for telling us that a hack attempt is not actually a hack attempt but an error I am a little more relaxed about seeing this message but it doesn't get me away from the fact that I have this problem and don't know how to clear it.All of my new site was working great then I tried to delete a customer and order and problems started. Now all I get when clicking on the cart link I have or any products all I get is a message saying hack attempt. How can I clear this and what would cause this? Nethercott is also right when he says that this message should be changed, it should be and PDQ as far as I am concerned. The Prestashop team should realise that not only is this very frightening for store owners but if customers come to the site and see a message like that you are finished with them for good. I mean, how many of us would stay on a site with a message like that on the page?I am running V1.2.5 at oralmatproducts.co.uk Luckily the site isn't live yet but users do need a clear and concise method of rectifying such errors and a quick method at that. tomerg3
can you post a link to a page where the hack attempt occurs?Did you make any custom changes?Did you import the data you have in there?
darren62
Sorry Tomerg3 but the problem has now gone although to remove the problem from my PC I was a little disappointed to have to remove all cookies, cache etc. before it went.I also found that they can be changed in the tools/translations then choose errors messags translations. Although I don't know what caused the issue I would advise everyone to change these words in the BO because anyone seeing them will run a mile from your site.
