poxxxy
Hi guys, So i've been away from Prestashop and e-commerce for around 7-8 years... but now I am back and good to see that the platform has came a long way. I installed 1.6.1.3 locally and began to try and create a catalog somehow with difficulty. I got stuck at the first hurdle however when it comes to creating a new theme. I copied the default bootstrap theme to a new folder and renamed. However I am unable to see the theme in the options to select and save it... This must be something simple. I checked on phpmyadmin and could not see a ps_themes table? Hopefully I can get back to grips with web design . Cheers!

poxxxy
Thanks . I ended up doing it some backwards way of exporting the boot strap theme with a diff name... importing from the zip and changing the folder location... lol. A little different to how I remember things! Spent all night up till 4:30am working on the css for the theme to try and integrate it to the rest of my website. Now... I would like to be able to show off the development to someone by allowing them access to my xampp by forwarding ports etc. However last time I tried this the other week I had another problem where the page was trying to resole to "localhost" rather than my IP. Is there anyway I can get this to work for both my end locally and remotely from one installation?
