Is it possible to apply different shipping prices to different products?

I need to be able to set a different shipping price to different products I sell.
For eaxample, currently I have a set price of $10 shipping for all items on my site. But if I want to sell an item for $3.00 and the shipping cost $10 then people will not buy it. So I want to make that item have a shipping price of $5.00.
Is it possible? I have searched the whole admin and cannot see how to do this.

Thanks but I am no coder. Surely there is an easier way? Why won't Presta do something to improve this feature? So many people have issue with the shipping component.

You can just say in description or something ( product includes shipping $3) and have all your items adverstise as free shipping on the site...?? does that sound any good?

I'm sure the presta team has a priority list, and I imagine that items that they need for shops they build go to the top of the list.

Considering the product is free, and it designed very very well (code and database), I think that they are doing much more than any other open source cart.

If you are not a coder, and can't even make a simple change in a couple of files, perhaps you should find yourself a coder that can do some work for you.
