Time zone and SSL problems

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody.

I've got this weird problem with time zone:
my host is in USA and my shop is for Spanish customers.
I've set the time zone in BO as Europe/Madrid, and all the times in BO are correct, but in the front end, when a customer looks at his orders, for example, the date/time is in my host time zone (-6 hours).

About the SSL, I have to say that I've never used it so I'm a total noob.
My host gave me a cPanel and I've got the option to:
- create/view/delete a private key,
- create/view/delete a certificate signing request,
- create/view/delete a certificate
and a shared SSL certificate URL.

I've created a private key, a certificate and a signing request, but if I activate the SSL function in the BO, it doesn't work.
Of course I'm missing something, but don't know what.
If I try to open the shared SSL certificate URL, I see the shop without images...

Any help?

Thanks.

Thank you Caleydon, but for what I understand I have to use the shared URL of my web host to use SSL.
It's not a certificates problem.
I've tried to read in this forum and there are many posts about shared SSL certificates, but seems that no one have solved the problem without making big changes to many files in prestashop.

I'll let everything as it is for now, until I'll be able to buy a dedicated certificate for my site.
