Discount on quantity

Is there a possibility of setting discount on quantity ordered product from category.

For example:
We have a catalog of products "A". The price of ordered product "A-1" is 10$, but if we order product "A-1" and "A-2" price is 9.50$, if we order "A-1", "A-2" and "A-3", the price is 8$ and so on.

If you me will they get a better price for buying two or more of the same product, then yes.

When you upload a product, you get the info tab then the photos tab then when you have done them the rest appear combinations, customization and the last one is reduction for quantity.

There you can specifiy, that for the second product the customer gets a 10% discount (or you can specify an amount). Then you can add another condition, where for, say, the fourth item they get 15% discount.

As far as I am aware, the discount only applies to the last items. so
Item one - full price
Item two, three - 10%
Item four - 15%

I found that if you apply a discount by amount, the tax is calculated incorrectly.

This does not appear to have been fixed in v1.4, certainly when I tried it, the tax was incorrect.

This is really frustrating, making what is a very useful feature for an ecommerce site totally useless. :-S
