M.Shtaya Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 Hi all,I faced a problem in my shop that some orders are added to the system with "On backorder" status instead of "Preparation on Progress". After deep investigation, i found out that in some cases when there is only 1 available quantity of a specific product while two customers are shopping from my shop. and both of them add this product to their carts. and both are in quick order checkout page. If one of them checkout his/her order and then the second once does the same. the second order will be with status "on backorder" because the quantity of this product will be -1 on the system! In such cases i assume that the system should show the second customer that this product is no more available instead of completing the order. It is a matter of data consistency. since i set the configuration of my system to not allow ordering "out of stock" products.
