nikpony Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 Dear friends and Prestashop developers, i think this is the first time that i am writing in your forum although i am using Prestashop for many years. Now we have a new prestashop, called www.meraki.gr and we need to validate it through http://achecker.ca/ but an error as you can see doesn't allow me to complete the test. I can't understand what's the reason that this error occured. As you can see if you test my url there you will see the following Check 185: id attribute is not unique. Repair: Modify the id attribute value so it is unique. <body id="index" class=" "> <div id="page"> <!-- Header --> <header id="heade ...(homepageslider) I have changed all theses id's to something else with no success, i have tried a lot of times without an id but it keeps to display the same error again and again. Please if somebody could help me i would be very grateful because we will have a test on Friday for a financing. atutor Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 The id "homepageslider" is being used twice, on line ~529 and again on line ~869. Change one of them. IDs must be unique on any given page. You also might want to run the page through the HTML Validator https://validator.w3.org Broken markup can also make AChecker reprots more difficult to trace.
