Remove link from category... if category has child

Hello!

I'm trying to remove links to categories at blockcategories, for navigation with dynamic menu and not show categories sections

I have tried with this thread (works fine): http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/9972/integration/remove_link_from_category_parent

the problem with this sollution is that ALL links dissapear from categories menu

I need this:

if Category has child -> dynamic expand
if Category does not has child -> Show products (link to category product list)

is this possible?
