Blank page after saving in SEO & URLs

Prestashop 1.6.1.1

 

When I save any of the options in "SEO & URLs" I got a blank page and the changes I have done is not saved.

 

Is this a known problem ?

Has it something to do with my php.ini ?

I had the .htaccess in the prestashop root folder but have also put a copy in the webservers root folder.

Unfortunately It did not make any difference.
