New Article -> Variants -> Color -> ColorID as suffix of article number

I want to run a B2B-Shop with Presta 1.6.1.1. . There are various articles with the same color variants. The color ID is part of the article number. (i.e. 879-05-17) The scheme is like ManufacturerID(3digits)-KindOfArticleID(2digits)-ColorID(2digits).

 

It would be great, if there is any possibility to do this automatic. The Parent-Article i.e. has the Article-No. 879-05. The color variants comes with an ID. Add the ID (format: -##) to the base article number. Done

 

(Further advantage is when I change the name of a specific color in the color database. So I don't have to change it for each article in my article-db.)
