Why does my test order work, but my customers order won't?

Hi

I've done a few test orders on my site, even taking payment, and it all works fine.

I have a customer (who surprising is willing to try more than once) who is getting hack attempt and other errors apparently as he goes through the checkout process.

Why would it work for me and not him? Is it something to do with my IP address?

I did have Increase Front Office Security Enabled but I have turned it off now - will he now be able to checkout? Again, I don't understand why it would let me but not him.

I don't want to ask him to try again unless if will definately work.

I am still on Version 1.0.0.5.

Any help most gratefully received. It's quite a large order he wants to make!

Have you tried to make the exact same order as him?
Also it might be a idea to compare your web logs from when you make the order and from when he makes the order.

Otherwise its up to the developers to try and debug this.

Also I would always say its better to be on the latest version of the software, just in case the problem has been fixed.

Yes, I'd tested the order. I think it was initially something to do with with the Increase Front Office Security being enabled, and then when it was disabled it was his cookies/cache on Internet Explorer that were messing it up. Once he'd cleared his cache he was able to place his order.

So panic over!

I'm upgrading to the latest version shortly!
