Customers not receiving email confirmations

Hello,

Currently our customers are not receiving email confirmations of their orders.

They are getting "new account" orders and our SMTP details are configured correctly as we're receiving merchant order emails and the "test email" from the back office works perfectly.

Could this be a problem with hooks at all? I have noticed there is nothing on "actionPaymentConfirmation".

There is mail alerts on "actionValidateOrder".

Any help would be great, thanks
