How to change "Tax" text to "VAT" in Shopping Cart Summary Page

Dear Sir/Madam

 

Can I please request any member to help me with following:

 

I would like to display "VAT" text instead of saying "TAX". We are based in UK and here everyone call it VAT.

 

For example on shopping cart summary:

 

Total Product: £49.92

Total: £49.92

Tax: £9.98

Total: £59.90

 

Basically I would like to show VAT text instead of Tax. I would like it to be like this:

Total Product: £49.92

Total: £49.92

VAT: £9.98

Total: £59.90

Just go to:

 

Back office > Localization > Translations

and search in "Front office translations" and "Installed modules tranlsations"

 

It might seem like a lot of hard work but it should only take around 20 minutes

I get this error when I follow your steps Paul

 

Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form 1000 for max_input_vars.
Please ask your hosting provider to increase this limit to 1138 at least, or you will have to edit the translation files.

This is not unusual, the easiest way to resolve this is to ask your Hosting Provider.
