Adding a second hidden reference number / field

Hi,

I would like to add a field to each product with a reference number which is used by our financial processes. The customer does not need to see this, it is not the product reference number. It is only used to ensure that the export of orders has the correct info to code the income to the correct departments. Is there a field that I can use for this ?
