Prestashop extremly slow after enabling and disabling friendly urls

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I've enabled Friendly URL after which my site became extremely slow. I've disabled it, but that didn't improve the situation.

 

Htop shows php-fpm pool www going up to 100% for a front page refresh.

 

Does anyone know what could be the reason for this?

The shop is in maintainance mode, if I visit the fron page the htop show cpu consumption of 100%.

 

Memory looks fine, its just the cpu consumtion for some reason. Any help?
