Prestashop Core Development is Not Proper

Recommended Posts

To All Prestashop Team Members.

I am use now Prestashop version 1.6.1.0 and following problem I have face even in your older version as well.

I have added two different shipping carrier using Shipping->Carriers tab from back office.

named first "Carrier1" which allow only for Africa (location).

and another is "Carrier2" which allow for America (location).

I have set these two different (specific) shipping carrier to two different product using Catalog->Products and select Product named "Product1" under that product there is shipping tab for select specific shipping carrier. and I have set "Carrier1" for that product.

same way for "Product2" I have set "Carrier2".

So actual problem starts from here.

From front office customer address I have set for order is "Washington, US".

When I am adding "Product1" into the Cart. Its shows warning on checkout process in carrier selection. (works correct)

But if in my cart there is two products "Product1" and "Product2" as well then Its not showing any warning about "Product1" is not for your delivery address. and even place order successfully with these two products. (prestashop core problem).

From back office two different order is display but total price of payment is same but there is only valid carrier data for "Product2". and for "Product1" there is entry of carrier but carrier name is missing.

what is that..?

Is it proper development..?

(in real case) If customer place order something like above will he/she get their product if there is no any shipping possible for their county?

Please help me what should I do for my store..? or should I switch to any other framework like magento or something?

I have done lots of research from last two days and found may forums that have same problem but there is no any single replay from developers as well as prestashop team members strange.
