Rich html page with multiple products able to add to cart

Hey,

 

Please see the attached image of a prototype view of what I'm trying to achieve.

 

Basically I want to create a long page with text and pictures where I can have multiple products with their small image and price and Add to cart button.

 

The goal is to have people reading the sales pitch and adding several products to cart without going to the products page or anywhere else. Once they reach to the end of the page they should have several items of various categories added to cart at which point I ask them to click proceed to checkout.

 

My questions are:

 

1. How to implement the single products with add to cart buttons to the text?

 

2. Should I use a CMS page or a blog page (need to buy/install blog module anyway)?
