Reduce quantity after payment validation

Hello, I recently took over development of one prestashop shop and I need to change quantity reduction logic.

 

At the moment quantity is reduced when the client is redirected to payment platform, so if payment won't succeed the quantity will still be reduced. I need to prevent that, so it would reduce quantity only when the payment confirmation arrives.

 

Any tips where to start from?

Did you find a valid solution to avoid q.ty reduce for refused or awaiting payment?
