Missing /cache/smarty/compile/index.php

I have Prestashop 1.6.1.0

 

I had things starting to come together and now all of a sudden I get this:

 

• All files from PrestaShop are not present on your server.
  (/cache/smarty/compile/index.php)

It was working fine and now the front end is all screwy too. Things are catergorized correctly in the back end, but everything is messed up in the front. There are things in the left bar I did not have activated as well. My back end has been ridiculously slow as well the last couple of days.

 

Any ideas?

Yeah, unfortunately a colon cleanse will not help the speed of the back end of my website.
