remoteONE
I have been unable to get the multistore feature to work. Ive been at it for 8 hrs and nothing works as it should. Finally I find a strange issue: Even though I have showing under Advanced Preferences > Multistore And have set up the store and its URL. (Parked URL, pointing at server) see attached. When browsing to the url http://telco-shop.com it just shows the index of the folder. When I check the setting for Preferences > General . Multistore is set to NO ! I try to set to "YES" but it just flicks back to "NO" when I save. See attached. So even though I can set up multistores, the multistore function will not stay ON. And stores are not actually created. Can anyond help please..?
NishantVadgama
make sure that you have select all shop from the select box at top left side . then you will find enable multistore - enabled. if you select particular store then you will have this screen that you have attached. remoteONE
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Im new to Prestashop, and fingding it quite differeent to configure than other eCom software ive used. Yes you are correct, "All Shops" Preferences > General page shows Multistore = "Enabled". So why does "Default Group" show as Multistore = "No" for the Group. That is very confusing since there are 2 stores in the Group. Is it supposed to show "No"? Regardless, only the installed URL for the store works. the URL for the second store (parked domain) does not work. This is a stumbling block that I must get to work before I decide to move forward with Prestashop. Thanks again.
remoteONE
I even tried adding shop URLs as www.mainstore.com.au/Shop_1 and /Shop_0 . But there are no subfolders created and the UrLs just show 404 error. Folder perms are 750 and files are 644.
remoteONE
Got the multistore function to work on our slower test server. It seems that Presta must be installed under the Primary URL folder: /public_html/ It would not work as multistore when installed in a subfolder such as: /public_html/cart/ The documentation does not make this clear.
