New Product Combination Price Always Incorrect

I do not know if the issue I am having is the result of a the store configuration, or a bug in PrestaShop, but any help is greatly appreciated.

 

When I add a new combination to a product and indicate that the "Impact on price" is an increase, and then enter amount, that amount is ignored. Instead, when the combination is saved it shows an increase of either $2.50 or $5.00. This happens for every combination. See the images below:
