Multistore shop URL problem

Hi everybody,

 

I am testing the multistore feature of Prestashop. At the moment I have just one store group and one store, I only have added one new shop URL, so now I have two shop URLs, the default one and a new one, that has a different subdomain.

 

I am pretty sure I have configured domain DNS and the server correctly, since I did everything manually (I know how to manage a web server).

 

What I obtain is that visiting the secondary shop URL, I get redirected the the main one. If I change the main shop URL I get the redirect on the previously main host and the website is displayed in the other one. If I set all shop URLs an non-main, I get server error on both hosts.

 

Question is: is this the expected behavior of the multiple shop URLs? If would expect to see the website on both URLs. For this test I run Prestashop 1.6.0.5. Thank you for your help.
