[Currency] Why is $product.price always with current value/currency and $product.wholesale_price...

Why is, smary variable, $product.price always with current value/currency and the other field, $product.wholesale_price, is not always up-to-date, whenever i change the currency in the main page?

 

 

I noticed that, in product-list.tpl...

{convertPrice price=$product.price}

...does not convert the price to the selected currency, but, instead, converts and displays the price.

Somehow it is always with correct and selected currency price.

 

 

1. How is that done?

2. How can i have the same behavior for the wholesale price?
