Non-STARTTLS email service to use with presta smtp

Hi, guys!

Does somebody use smtp in Prestashop?

 

I know that Presta works with smtp in old-fashioned way. But smtp in Presta doesn't handle modern encription

Modern day SMTP servers require the use of STARTTLS, which is not supported by the 8 year old software Prestashop.

 

What mail service you use to get Presta smtp work?

You should never try to use external email services like google or yandex, or somewhat else because they don't give you any chance to send emails through them.

 

I've finally found how to send emails using smtp. You should create an email box on your hosting provider server.

You can set up ssl smtp in your Prestashop settings and all will be OK.
