Emails and store on different hosting?

Dear team,

We got a sharing server with private IP in Hong Kong since our main market is there.

Since the service is always much better in Hostgator US than any server compnay in HK, we would prefer to have the emails on hostgator US and the store in the HK server.
Will this affect to the emails that are send regularly by prestashop shop to clients? Has to be both emails and shop in our addon domain in Hong Kong?
