Graying Out Combination Options

I'm creating multiple product attributes for Wholesale Bulk Cable for our company's website. But there are certain combinations that we offer, and certain ones we don't. For example:

 

14AWG 2 Conductor PVC Shielded is something we offer. However:

 

14AWG 2 Conductor VNTC Shielded is NOT something we offer.

 

Is there a way to take away the "Shielded" option when selecting a certain combination for the cable? Or is there a way to "Gray" it out so it's not select-able? 

 

I've been trying to figure this out for 3 days now, but with no luck. I'm hoping someone here can assist me with this issue.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but hope this helps you.

 

You create attributes first, then when you create a product you have to select the combination(s).

If the combination is not selected it is not operational for the product.

 

Maybe you are doing it autamated, then you need to go to each individual product and delete the combination(s) you dont want.

 

I don't know which version PS you are using, there may be a difference, but generaly this is how it should work.

 

If this doesn't help, you can make a screenshot of the screen with the combinations that shows how it is set?
