Prestashop and Blog modules

Hi

 

I am creating a new website with a template that have some modules to make a blog inside Prestahop and can admin the Blog from the backoffice, but I have some questions:

 

 

If I use this template and modules, will I have problems to update to a new version of Prestashp in the future?

 

If in the future I will use a new template without blog options, what will happens with the blog, comments, ....?

 

 

I don't know if deleting this modules I can update Prestashop in the future  with a clean database or the blog and comments will remain in the database. 

 

It is better a blog inside Prestashop or use a Wordpress?

Hi. If is a module, must work with other themes (so you dont lost posts if update prestashop and change theme) Maybe you need to redesign the layout, but all data keeps. For a custom theme, maybe you have some issues if upgrade prestashop, but not big deal until prestashop change to 1.7 version. Wordpress is better for seo, and you have some modules to use Wordpress into prestashop
