fashy
Hi, I'm pretty new in Prestashop configuration. How can I edit the default texts written in Latin for the displayed features(like Info, objects texts etc) Im trying to figure that out, couldnt get it, as nowhere I can find entrance to text editing for the texts displayed on the site. Though itlooks very much like to Wordpress (and am experienced in that),but cant find those info and object text sections to edit. Thanks for help
vekia
hello check official documentation related to translations: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Translations should help to solve your translation problems :-)
fashy
Thanks but Im not asking translation, im asking how to edit/update default texts delivered with the module.
vekia
translation is the way to extend texts too. for example, module contains text "this is example of text" now you want to change it to something different like "this is my text, not simple example" you just have to "translate" "en" language of the module, you will be able to alter text to any other you want. So as you can see it's not a translation, but a way of change the texts. if you want to add some different contents to module, it will be necessary to alter module .tpl files.
