Hi!

I've the following situation.  On my payment page, there is no option to pay with Paypal, only with wire transfer.  But, the express button is showing everywhere.  Attached are

  • how the module is set,
  • confirmation that appears on the payment page (on the same hooks as the wire transfer)
  • How the express button appears
  • How the pay with paypal option does not show on payment page

I don't remember if there was an update of the Paypal module, but maybe you can figure out what is happening.

Thanks in advance!

THis might have something to do with the threshold settings: payment methods always need to be configured for a location, user group, and it might need to be manually enabled.

back office > modules -> (submenu) payments

Can you check that? It might not be active for a certain region and/or user group or something, or it might not be enabled at all with your currency or something.

I found it, thanks to las3r.  I had this setting, because I need it in order to process all payments through paypal in USD.  But, if I set the option as Client Currency, the client gets an error paying with paypal, because paypal doesn't allow payments in Quetzales.  Maybe the solution could be telling the client to change the currency if he is going to pay with paypal.  But I'd like that the shop could show the module and process the payment in USD.

By the way, with this setting (forcing paypal to USD), the express button does it well.
