oliver_33
Can anyone tell me if I can use more than one specific price on products? In my case I needed to put a discount for a group of clients and also wanted to add a new discount to some products to all customers. The result was only appear the first discount off the line. Is this a bug?

tdr170
With specific prices you have to apply to customer groups, so lets say you want to have a discount that applies to all customers in specific prices you select all groups and add the discount. So lets say now you want an addition discount for a special group we will call them Team, create a group called Team then when creating specific price select Team for group and add the discount. In my case all groups have a discount of 15% and Team members are set at 25%, we use the retail price as a MSRP. Now you need to change the customers that are Team members to Team in the Customers details this way once they sign in they will receive the team discount. Since addition groups such as Team are special groups the Team member must be logged in to see the Team price. The only way I know how this is achieved is by adding specific prices to each product. In my site I have a retail price set in the products prices tab then 2 specific prices one applies to all groups the other to out team members, then in the Shop the Retail price is stricken out and Your price is shown. http://team-shepherdusa.com Edited May 10, 2015 by tdr170 (see edit history)
oliver_33
Hi Tdr170, I had already done it. The problem is that two specific prices for a group only one is applied. And if I do not use the existing default groups of customers the store does not work properly. The modules simply disappear
tdr170
You can only apply 1 specific price to a group, by default you should have three groups Visitor, Guest and Customer. So add another group call it whatever you like then create an account if you do not have one already. Go to the Customers page and click edit on your account you will see in the Group access that you are set to Customer. Now select a product and add two specific prices one applied to all groups the other applied to the group you created. You can also apply one to customer group and one to the group you created but in this way visitors and guest will not see the discounted price until they create an account. So lets say you added one to all groups and one to the group you created, now go to shop and you will see the discounted price for all groups this will not change even if you log in. Now go to your account in back office and change your group access to the group you created go back to shop log out and back in and you will now see the price for the group you created.
