datasphere
Hi Community ! I need to setup for my friend an order and delivery at home. Not really commercia job so resources are limited. So I was thinking on Prestashop All is fine with the product setup and payment BUT how to display Order on display in his kitchen (pizza and such food) Just ordinary mail client or it is possible to forward it to display it in something else, like html etc (dummy proof ) just button read the order and confirm order - in which case it delivers the message to the client : "The order is on its way ?" thanks for any suggestion ! tdr170
Not completely understanding what your asking, do you want to send email to inform of new order (modules/administation/mail alerts).
datasphere
not quite the workflow is going like this: User orders autoresponder responds: `your order is on its way` Prestashop sends email to inform of new order (modules/administation/mail alerts) as you said to the production worker opens email / egoi / Idk or Presta back office whatever and sees the order pushes a button and the response goes to customer via sms or email or both `Your order is received, and under preparation. It will be delivered to your doorstep in 60 minutes` worker dispatches the order Edited May 7, 2015 by datasphere (see edit history)
tdr170
In the back office of Prestashop in the orders section click on view of the order and change to preperation in process this will auto respond to customer that the package is being prepared, once package is ready change again to shipped and Prestashop will send another email to customer that the package has shipped. You can customize these mails to your preference by editing the html and txt files in mails/your language. datasphere
Not really sure of the question, you want a Share on Facebook for your site and/or products. No I must be more clear: Is there a module for connecting with the users trough Presta after the order, but via sms, or some social media if the user is logged in with social media to notify user on the product delivery ? tdr170
Not that I am aware of, as I stated above changing the order status to shipped sends an email that the order has been shipped. If you set up the shippers with the tracking URL address once you place the tracking number in the Tracking area of the order it will send another email with the tracking number.
datasphere
Found the SMS modules \ http://www.presta-sms.com/pricelist.html?country_id=43&payment_id=3 and http://addons.prestashop.com/en/administration-tools-prestashop-modules/16892-sms-gateway-notifications.html has anyone used them for real? It says around 0.03 eurocents per SMS x 1000 customers is 30 eur ! Not bad!
