Email Forwarding from personal email account

Hi initially i was using my personal email account in my site . So all the information to customer are being sent from my personal email now when i change the email id to company email from Preference -> store contacts and save it .It is still saving as personal email account and my company id is not being reflected and even i tried to change it in adavanced parameters -> emails -> from php mail function to smtp parameters but there even it is saving as php mail function . Please help what can be done

configure it on the module MAILALERTS

Hey thanks for your reply. That did no work but i went and changed it in database under Ps_configuration it worked .
