bantumi
Hi, guys! I am new to Prestashop and I'm having some issues while movinge site from live server to localhost. I successfully migrate the db and the files to the new location, but it looks like i'm missing the table in the database where i should change the home url. The site works in fact but without the styles and the images on it, because of the wrong url. Anyone can help?
SirPresta
It's common problem. I have simple solution for you:For instance. If your live shop admin panel url is http://my-shop.com/adminXYZ/ .Put in your browser address http://localhost/adminXYZAdmin panel is redirects resistant After login you should go to the Preferences -> Seo and URL's . You should also see special message about your shop url, when you login into admin panel on your localhost. Best reagards, SirPresta
bantumi
Thank you @Presta, I've made these changes, the site looks like working now, but the url's are still pointing to the old site. I also tried following these steps :http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS14/System+Administrator+Guide#SystemAdministratorGuide-MovingPrestaShopBut no luck yet... ReactionCode
Hi Bantumi, you can check my blog and translate with Google Chrome, is for PS1.5 but is the same. http://laboratorio-prestashop.blogspot.com.es/2013/09/pasa-tu-tienda-prestashop-tu-ordenador.html You need to set the domain and the root to your localhost. as mickeyboy told you need to regenerate the htaccess.
