[Reopen] Incorrect disabled module count

Recommended Posts

Screenshot below

As the image indicates I have 3 disabled modules, yet the list only shows one disabled module.

I have enabled multistore, I selected All Shops in the dropdown on top.

Install: WAMP on windows 8

I only turned off readony for cache folder, maybe I need to do some more settings that are not found in official manuals?

Thanks

You canedit the database ps_modules, look for modules with a 0 in the active column and change to 1.

If you see modules in the list that are not installed but marked as disabled (0) just delete from database.

This is the only way I have found to fix this situation.

This problem is reoccurring again.

all shops:

72 installed

9 disabled

subshop:

 65 installed

16 disabled

effective numbers, counted manually:

79 addons in total

same for all shops

Is tampering with the database really the only solution for this?

In the end you have no idea anymore which modules are enabled/disabled for which shop making the whole thing a big mess.

The whole modules screen is ill-designed imho, not user-friendly, not intuitive.

subshop 2:

installed modules: 72

manual count installed only: 69?

discrepancies everywhere

edit 1

Group main:

10 disabled

manual count: 15

edit 2

was disabling modules in subshop, suddenly when going back to main group the numbers now are:

69

12

manual count is still 15 though

Which dark evil abyss are these numbers coming from?
