richdavids
Hi all, I'm a first timer, so this is probably an easy question... While generating combinations I've accidentally attached an attribute to a product which is surplus to requirements. Only one of the values for the surplus attribute is included, so it creates a drop down I don't need (and which is confusing because it conflicts with a later attribute). I am using the offending attribute elsewhere, though, so I'm reluctant to delete it completely. Is there a way to remove an attribute from just one product/set of combinations, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks in advance. tdr170
You should be able to edit that product go to combinations and delete that combination.attribute.
richdavids
Thanks for your reply. It's not actually giving me that option, I'm afraid. If I go Product > Combinations it brings up the "Add or Modify Product Combinations" menu, where I would expect to be able to remove the problem attribute. Unfortunately it's not in the list - I think this attribute is somehow linked to the product itself at the level above, rather than being part of a combination.
