brandonc503 Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Just wanted to throw out the idea of a chatroom to use .. i peak in the irc chat channel #prestashop to see if anyone is there ever. its easy to use. if you got firefox there is an add on you can install called chatzilla. install it, restart ff, then go to tools->chatzilla .. type /server irc.ubuntu.net then /join #prestashop. there are other servers to access irc chat thru but thats one i use.. hope to see some peeps soon. I have been in contact with Steve (iblastoff) to assume control of the channel and start trying to utilise it to help fellow members if at all possible. This is of course NOT an officially ran channel and we do not expect the Presta team to feel as though they have to be involved, but your support would be nice. If any of the team would like to be in the room to help also, do contact me so we can sort of the necessary privelages.Our aim is to help out current members and provide a little extra support if we can. The forum is and always will be the first source of information though, so do not think we are trying to replace this. If it wasn't for the forum people wouldn't know about the IRC room so.. it all works hand in hand..! Anyway, me (JMP-TOK) and brandonc503 are the current moderating team in the room, any questions or more info, don't hesitate to contact brandon or myself..
