Search does not index products

Hi,

 

I have problem with the search on my site. It doesn't index all products. It says "Indexed products 635/1517". I've had this problem for a while now and it doesn't resolve itself so I'm hoping that someone might have a solution. 

Of course I have tried "add missing products to index" and "rebuild entire index", does not make it better, sometimes rebuilding the entire index even makes it worse.

 

I am currently on prestashop 1.6.

 

I am using the multistore function and this applies to the other shops as well.

 

Anyone have a idea what the problem might be?

Hi,

 

There was something wrong with the multistore function and how products were linked. Some products didn't actually belong to any of the multishops. Make sure that they all have a default shop an category.
